Our 6 Phase Design Process

01.

Define

The first thing we do at Matters Brand is request for a project brief from a client, listen to you as a client, why you need the project designed or redesigned and your goals. This is a very critical stage and it helps us come up with a reasonable timeframe by determining what the project is all about and the time needed to complete and deliver.

02.

Research

After defining your problems, the next phase is always the research stage. This is where we research on who your competitors are, how they are presenting their brands currently and what makes them standout in their service/ business. We also do extensive research by creating mood boards of inspirations by other people on the same field as your brand.

03.

Analyze

After researching we study and analyze the project so that we can understand how all the data and information we’ve collected can impact your design .On this stage we begin to create mood boards with inspirations from other companies offering the same service, then we brainstorm and sketch the ideas.

04.

Design

By now, the client has already defined his/her project, we have researched on it, we have all the necessary information and ideas on mood boards. In this stage we now bring the ideas into life by taking the design from a concept to a project. We have the latest design software to help us in quick service delivery and our designers are creative and profesional.

05.

Prototype

By this time the design is finished (assuming it is a logo) and the client has to see how it will be applied on different sizes and substrates. This stage is called the prototyping or testing stage where all designs are mocked up for the client to get an overview of the whole project. We also test the printable designs by sampling so as to ensure the final draft to be delivered is as required.

06.

Deliver

In this phase, having gone from defining the project to researching it, analyzing it, designing it all the way to testing it this is usually the most important part. We deliver all projects in due time and in all formats. After completing the project we will zip all your file formats as a package for future use. We will deliver AI, PSD , JPEG, PDF, PNG, EPS and any other customizable format.
